The R1TITAN for JZA80, which made the R1TITAN famous, is 4.8kg compared to the stock 19.7kg. The R1000 model with integrated straight catalyst for circuit use is 6.2kg compared to the stock 28kg.
While the improvements in power output, sound quality, and visual appearance attracted attention, it was weight reduction that was focal.
In 2003, when the Nissan Fairlady Z33 went on sale, silencer capacity was increased due to noise regulations and increased engine displacement and power output, and from then on the bullet-type parallel silencer became the main layout for the R1TITAN.
It was not an easy process to complete; we asked the skilled workers at the production factory to create prototypes, and we repeatedly test-ran them on dynapacks and on the circuit, before completing each product one by one.
R1TITAN will continue to evolve.
The man who has been keeping a close eye on the R1TITAN ever since it was installed on a JZX100 25 years ago will continue to evolve the R1TITAN with the cooperation of skilled titanium professionals who have been manufacturing R1TITANs every day since the very first R1TITAN was made.
Our intentions have not changed since before the birth of R1TITAN.

Material
The R1TITAN series is made possible by cutting-edge technology and materials.
Titanium materials are broadly divided into two types: pure titanium and titanium alloys. R1TITAN uses pure titanium and STTI, a high-heat-resistant titanium alloy with significantly increased strength, whose material has been reformed in collaboration with world famous Nippon Steel Corporation.
STTI, which is called “super tough titanium”, has significantly improved strength and durability at high temperatures and is a material developed for high-performance mufflers.
Through repeated real-world testing, measurement testing using specialized equipment, and various other tests, the R1TITAN is completed with pure titanium and titanium alloy STTI placed in the optimal parts. It is always packed with the latest materials and technology.

Each R1TITAN muffler is handmade by skilled craftsmen who intimately understand titanium.
In order to obtain the optimal ground clearance, optimal silencer position, optimal pipe diameter, optimal power and torque, and the best sound quality, we first make a dedicated jig after repeated measurement tests and sensitivity tests.
The R1TITAN is complexly constructed and is built up through a long process. In order to make the most of the material and give it durability, the optimal welding process is required, and skilled craftsmen also perfectly back shield the inside of the pipe to create a product that maintains its strength. And the most important thing. The skilled craftsmen at the manufacturing factory, the Meisters, and the technicians who make each part, love the R1TITAN. They do not just repeat the same assembly line work, but build each one with true pride and love.
